Join The Greenlands Reserve Land Trust/ Friends of the Dillon Ranger District for Adopt-A-Trail Project
The Greenlands Reserve Land Trust (GRLT)/Friends of the Dillon Ranger District (FDRD) invites you to join us on Saturday, September 18 for our first trail maintenance project on Buffalo Cabin Trail. Volunteers will perform various trail maintenance activities, including trail closure/restoration work in braided areas and construction of check dams and water bars for erosion control. Volunteers should meet at the trailhead (at the end of Ryan Gulch Road in Wildernest) by 9:00AM and should dress for a day outdoors - bring lunch, water, work gloves, layered clothing including long pants, long sleeved shirt, sturdy boots, sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, rain gear, insect repellent, and lots of enthusiasm! All ability levels welcome.
This effort is part of the FDRD's Forest Stewards Program Adopt-A-Trail initiative. We would love to have you join us on this project.
RSVPs are highly encouraged so that we can provide sufficient tools and crew leaders. Contact Marge Schweri at 970-468-4887 or
